With Woman Doula’s offer payment plan options and are happy to work with contracted clients to allow them the ability to budget this important piece of your birth and postpartum experience. We also suggest incorporating a, “Moola for the Doula” contribution to your baby shower and other celebrations which honor your upcoming birth. Did you know many insurance “flex spending” accounts will allow for coverage of billed Doula support? Be sure to call your insurance company to find out if this is an option for you!
As full spectrum Doula’s we strive to work alongside your partner and hospital staff to support the birth YOU most desire. It is our goal to work together with your birth team as a whole; to promote a positive atmosphere, well informed choices, and facilitate the comfort measures and emotional support as you need it. We are here for you AND your partner through your pregnancy, during your labor, and into your postpartum season to offer education and unbiased information, help you as you plan and prepare, answer questions, and set you up for success! It is our belief that the BEST Doula’s will make your partner look GOOD, not replace him/or her.
- As Doula’s we support our clients emotionally, physically, and sometimes even spiritually as we work alongside them through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. We facilitate well informed, unbiased choices which align with each individual client’s needs, beliefs, and desires. We may support our clients by performing comfort techniques, as well as supporting partner in learning and practicing comfort techniques. We do not practice as medical professionals. We do not “catch” babies. We do not perform medical procedures.
YES! As Full Spectrum Doula’s we offer Postpartum Doula support at an hourly rate! Birth clients will see us twice after their birth’s, for one-hour sessions, at 24 hours and again at one week to check in and support them as they enter into their postpartum season. Clients seeking further Postpartum Doula support may choose to book sessions at the hourly rate covering light house work, cooking and meal prep/planning, grocery store runs, sibling care, birth processing, over night care, newborn and infant care, and instructional support to teach you feeding methods, techniques to support infant soothing and sleep, aaaaaaand for parents to simply have time to REST and RESTORE so that they can be the healthy parents the desire to be! Postpartum Doula support can be a REAL game changer!!!
